Manage your game and Project page
Get started
Keep one thread per game. Use it for new screenshots, build updates and feedback. Ask a
moderator to review it for Publish to site. After approval, run /mygame publish in
that thread. Choose a status for a new Project. Run /mygame manage to open its website
editor and sign in with the same Discord account.
Returning creators can open Your Projects. Do not create another
thread or Project to update your game. /mygame link is retired.
What can I edit?
Project editor: title, descriptions, platforms, main Play destination, external links, manual development updates and external Wiki cards. Save before using Preview saved draft.
Releases & roadmap: external game versions and Now / Next / Later plans. Save each section separately. New items start as private drafts. A release link is not a ZIP upload and does not freeze the files on another host.
Launch checklist: private preparation for one saved release. Mark To check, Checked or Not needed and save notes. Reset reviews after release details change. Clear removes the checks/notes, not the release. This is not certification or moderator approval.
Choose gallery images
Open Gallery images. Automatic mode keeps the existing gallery behaviour. Selected mode uses up to 12 chosen attachments from your own messages in the fixed game thread. Add the message/attachment links requested by the form, a useful description and an optional caption. Choose Public deliberately, order the images and save. Remove supports undo before save.
The Bot checks the exact author and source before preparing public images. Empty selected mode has no fallback to unchosen images. Gallery selection does not choose the cover or Showcase thumbnail. For automatic covers, see Posting your game.
Choose Discord text updates
Open Discord updates. Paste up to 20 of your own message links from the game thread, add titles, choose Private draft or Public, and save. The Development section can show the date, title, a short excerpt and the original Discord link. Manual updates stay.
The Bot does not copy other members’ replies, forwarded text, attachments or embeds. Quoted material, code blocks, spoilers, mentions and raw links are stripped from excerpts. Do not select sensitive messages. Editing or deleting a source affects a later successful refresh, not an already-open page instantly. Clear all choices does not delete Discord posts.
Write Game Wiki pages
Open Write Game Wiki, then Add page. Enter a title, summary and text. Check Preview this draft, then Save draft. Choose Publish saved draft only when that saved version is ready for readers.
Later edits remain private until you publish again. Take page off site keeps the draft but removes the public copy after refresh. Delete page removes both after confirmation. Existing external Wiki links stay available.
Use plain paragraphs, ## or ### headings, lines starting with - , and triple-backtick
code blocks. HTML and pasted URLs are plain text, not active content. This is not full
Markdown. Limits are 20 pages, 120 characters per title, 280 per summary and 12,000 per body,
with an overall size limit. Public Wiki search filters titles/summaries; site search includes
published article text. Neither search includes private drafts.
Help players find your game
Open Discovery & resources. Choose up to three genres and, optionally, where you use AI. Labels start as a Private draft. Use Show on approved Project when they are ready. Leaving AI use blank makes no claim about your game.
Choose the tools you used and guides you found useful. Each link has a separate private or public choice. Public links can show your game on that resource’s page too. They are your own statements, not endorsements or licence checks. No missing resource is guessed.
Save your choices. They appear after approval checks and a successful site refresh. Clear all discovery choices removes these labels and links, not your Project. Players can use game discovery to filter by these public choices.
Who makes a game public?
The moderator-only Publish to site tag approves site eligibility. Your Request publication records your choice to make the Project public. Individual draft/public choices remain separate. Save alone cannot bypass any of those controls.
Unpublish Project hides the Project but can leave a separately approved Showcase card. Removing the moderator tag withholds both after refresh. Saved content and the same IDs remain for reapproval. Joining a jam does not bypass moderation.
Exports are scheduled every six hours. A successful export and rebuild are required; failed or delayed runs take longer. Contact moderators for urgent removal.
Avoid losing edits
A conflict means another tab saved first. Keep your draft, copy the text, then reload when safe. A timeout may happen after the server saved; do not repeatedly submit. When a source or record needs review, ask a moderator rather than creating another game.
ZIP uploads, hosted browser-game play, automatic jam build locks and website voting are not enabled. Use external builds and keep feedback/voting in Discord. See Jam handbook and Byte commands.
