Member commands

Command What it does
/help Shows a private command reference
/mygame publish [status] In your approved registered game thread, creates or reuses its Project. A new Project needs an explicit status.
/mygame manage In the same owned thread, opens website tools for the existing Project
/projecturl url:<URL> Legacy external link on an owned registered thread; does not publish or update an existing Project’s destination
/mystats Shows your feedback totals and rank privately. Looking up someone else is moderator-only.
/leaderboard [scope] Shows other reviewers’ scores in a private reply. The public weekly thank-you roll has no scores.
/needsreviews Lists registered project threads by replies from other members; threads Byte could not read are reported, not listed as unanswered
/playtest join Opts in to Playtest Crew and asks whether your reviews can appear in the weekly ranking
/playtest browse Privately lists project threads waiting for feedback
/playtest profile Privately shows your Playtest Crew status and counts
/playtest nominate Puts a review forward for a monthly award
/playtest leave Leaves Playtest Crew; feedback points are unchanged
/posttemplate Gives a private copyable build-help, playtest or update template; does not post it
/gameidea [theme] Produces a game idea, subject to cooldown/call limits; optional AI configuration affects generation

Playtest Crew explains the /playtest commands.

Owner commands must run in your own registered game thread. /mygame link is retired. Do not create another thread to repair an association. Ask a moderator.

Website tools

After /mygame manage, sign in with the same Discord account. Your Projects links to the main editor, Releases & roadmap, Launch checklist, Gallery images, Discord updates and Write Game Wiki. Managing your game explains the steps and limits.

Save stores content. Public choices still need owner publication intent and the moderator-only Publish to site tag. Wiki drafts have a separate public copy. Private checklists do not approve, publish or submit a game. Changes appear after a successful site refresh, not immediately. Exports are scheduled every six hours.

Moderator tools

/jamvotes returns a private event-tag tally. /assignjam associates a registered game thread with an event. Neither command applies website approval. Organisers review event rules and apply result tags. See Jam handbook.

/nudgescreenshots and /nudgequestions support batch preview/apply. Check previews before sending. Scheduled reminders combine missing-image/questions into one message where needed; no automatic post deletion is performed. Configured exclusions skip questions for sharing-only posts. /posthelp posts and pins the command reference only when a moderator requests it.

/communitynote nominate gives a private manual-consent checklist. It does not collect a conversation. Each contributor must approve the final text and attribution before publication.

Not enabled

The hosted-build /jam and /build workflows, browser ZIP uploads, private runtime previews, public hosted play and automatic jam build locks are off. Use external game links and the current Discord event process. Their presence in source code is not proof of availability.

Privacy

Feedback points need the owner’s helpful reaction plus the server’s length/cap rules. Public reviewer thank-you posts have no scores; private commands can still show standings. The Playtest Crew section of the weekly post shows project counts only for members who chose ranking in /playtest join. Daily digest/AI recap behaviour depends on operator configuration. Approved public recap sources may be sent to the configured provider. Read Privacy before sharing sensitive material. Public website browsing needs no account; owner tools use Discord sign-in.
